Avocets and Stilts
American Avocet and Black-necked Stilt are relative newcomers to the province, like us (I've been here 25 years and my wife 35 - the first sightings and breeding records here for Black-necked Stilt are from the 1970s). These two get their own page here mainly because they're so photogenic, however.
